Wealth and envy

Material wealth does not exist. For wealth is always felt. Even the value of the spiritual.

The materialist identifies with his possessions, the life-experienced person may not need them, and the spiritual seeker may not understand what to do with them. Everything can be more or less in harmony with our soul, more or less deeply or superficially, more or less directly or indirectly. In fact, wealth can be attained without any "detours" through external events or achievements: in meditative silence. Because basically we already have it. We just need to rediscover it.

How we do this – whether through material goods, interpersonal relationships, new knowledge, our own products, or changing circumstances – is a matter of personal preference and ultimately of equal value.

Therefore, there is no reason for envy:

  1. If someone else seems to be better than you and you think you can be just as good, then learn from him and become better.
  2. If you can't or don't want to be like him, accept it and identify more with your own individuality.
  3. Become aware of what the other person does not have in relation to you.
  4. Respect him for his individuality.
